Everyone knows Beamline Steel. Not everyone knows how it got its name, or what it actually takes to run a fabrication business as husband and wife.
Sophie and Mark, owners of Beamline Steel, sat down with Nell Op de Beeck on The Voice of Business for an honest chat about it all. From a naming story that’s stuck for decades, to the architectural side of the business, railings, balustrades, fire escapes, where Sophie comes alive, and the big structural beams that light Mark up, this episode goes behind the workshop doors.
